Finding Your Perfect Contact Lens at Kay Street Eyecare

Our goal is to help you enjoy an active lifestyle thanks to perfectly fitted contact lenses.

To get there, we first begin with a thorough eye test to verify your most up-to-date prescription and to rule out any pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

Fitting lenses to your lifestyle
We determine your optimal contact lens based on your lifestyle needs, as well as your ocular health and eye shape. In most cases, we offer you the opportunity to try the lenses on the same day as your test. You may even go home with a few samples to ensure you experience ultimate eye comfort and vision clarity before making your final decision.

Follow up fittings
Our Traralgon team will follow up after the initial fitting and make any necessary changes in fit or materials to ensure you get optimal results. We teach all our patients about proper contact lens care and possible consequences if proper care is not taken. Then we continue with long term follow ups to monitor the condition of the lenses, your eyes, and to make sure that proper hygiene is being maintained.

Our Contact Lens Services:

  • Thumbnail dispoasable
Disposable contact lenses are generally considered to be far superior in comfort and wearability than hard and rigid lenses.
  • Thumbnail contact exam
A routine exam won’t provide some of the measurements and testing that are required to determine if your eyes are suitable for contact lens wear and to generate your contact lens Rx.
  • Thumbnail contacts senior
Fortunately for those who don’t like the look, feel or inconvenience of reading glasses, there is another option. Bifocal and multifocal lenses are also available in contact lenses in both soft and rigid varieties.
  • Thumbnail contacts 3
These rigid lenses aren’t as popular or well-known as soft lenses, but they offer the advantages of durability, crisp vision and high oxygen permeability.
  • Thumbnail contacts 4
Challenges such as astigmatism, presbyopia, keratoconus and dry eyes needn’t be a barrier to contact lens wear, but they do require more time and patience.
  • man about to start running a race
“I can’t wear soft contacts; I have astigmatism.” This once-true statement is now simply a myth.
